How to delete Instagram - Step-by-Step guide

Before deleting Instagram
- Backup all your data if you’d like to save it.
- Remove app permissions for other apps.
- Delete related Instagram apps from your pc and phone.
- Consider leaving a good bye note to notify friends of your departure
This is how you delete your account!
You must log in to your Instagram account in a browser click here: Instagram.com you can’t do it from your phone app.
Click your avatar picture in the top right corner.
Now click ‘Edit Profile’.
Here you will also find the option to Temporarily Disable Your Instagram Account, if you want to do that then click “Temporarily disable my account“.
Choose a reason, type in your password, and click “Temporarily Disable Account“. Done.
If you want to reactivate your account again you go to Instagram.com and log in.
Everything will be there just as you left it.
Now let's delete that Instagram account!
You need to find the ‘Delete Your Account’ page on Instagram.
Just use my link above, because they have made it pretty much impossible to find by yourself.
Note: When you Delete an Instagram account you will be deleting your profile, photos, videos, likes, comments, and any followers, they will be permanently deleted. You can’t sign up with your old username if you decide to create another Instagram account again. It’s impossible for Instagram to reactivate deleted accounts.
Now choose why you want to Delete Your Instagram Account, you have to choose something and put in your password for the “Permanently delete my account” button to work, you can just pick ‘Something else’ as I did. Then put in your Password and finally click: Permanently delete my account.

Why you should delete your Instagram account!
Instagram is one of the worst apps out there right now, you might think it is just another innocent social app but that’s where you’re wrong.
Today’s new generations are pretty much raised with a phone in their hand, role models are people they see on platforms that flex their muscles or perfect bikini bodies.
Young boys and girls set impossible goals for themselves when they see celebrities, and athletes all the time and start to think that it’s just normal to look like that.
They don’t think about all the years of hard work and struggle, and more than often thousands of dollars spent on plastic surgery to get that look.
I don’t think Instagram (and a lot of the other big platforms) helps young people to get a realistic view on life, and I would recommend every young person out there to permanently delete your Instagram account.
